Another WW1 memorial in King’s Somborne

Another WW1 memorial in King’s Somborne ? – the original Village Hall was a wooden hut donated by Herbert Johnson in memory of his wife’s nephew, John Talbot Burgh Leighton who was killed in 1917 whilst flying over France; a wooden plaque to this effect still may be found in the Committee Room of the present Hall.
